1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

The 360° Survey is powerful, yet quite complicated to use – not only for admins and owners, but also for people participating in the survey. Some suggestions have been made to improve this back in 2021, but, so far, nothing has materialized.

We are not aware of any current users of this survey type. The new maintainer does not know of any users, either. We could not find testers with expertise. For new testers the workflow was annoying and sometimes overwhelming.

Hence, I suggest to abandon this survey type to focus resources on much needed improvements elsewhere.

If you are a current user of this survey type or interested in becoming one, please step forward and object to this Abandon request. As far as we can tell, workflow improvements could be implemented with a reasonable amount work – as long as you are willing to put some time into the concept.

Morales, Abraham [amorales], 16 JUL 2026: After reviewing the proposal to abandon the Survey Type 360° Feedback and discussing it in a meeting with Potter, Chris [ChrisPotter], I have decided that this feature should be retained.
During the meeting, we came up with one or two potential feature requests focused on minor usability improvements. These changes would not alter the core functionality of the 360° Feedback mode, but would make it easier to configure and use.

Chris has also offered to support the testing of this feature, which will significantly reduce the workload for the testing team and help ensure that the functionality remains stable.

In addition, he suggested several improvements to the language variables. These changes chelp users better understand how the 360° Feedback mode works.
