Improvement of preconditions
1 Requirements
Problem description:
- We use ILIAS to manage the self-registration for some courses. We use preconditions:
- e.g.: Self registration to course "A2" is possible, IF test "A0"=passed AND test "A1"=failed.
- Now a lot of student are allowed to register to the course by "Admission per Link" courses, because they already fulfilled the preconditions (e.g. they have a have an official language certificate).
- These users are registered, but ILIAS does not give access to these users, because they did not fulfill the preconditions.
Requirements:
- A possibility to solve this problem: Registered users ("Admission per link" or added from admins/tutors in the member-tab) get access to the content of a container-object, althought they do not fullfill the preconditions.
- Suggested solution:
- a new option "Custom"
- with the possibility to concatenate different precondition with AND/OR, eg.:
- q AND r OR x AND y
- (q AND r) OR (x AND y)
- and with a "dummy"-precondition: Registered users

3 Discussion
Zenzen, Enrico [ezenzen], 05 AUG 2022: This request no longer fulfills the requirements of the Feature Wiki. In consultation with the maintainer I change the status of the feature request to "Redundant / outdated". If the request is still relevant, please update template and mockups.
